This is the Terms and Conditions page for Yummies’ website. By using the website, you agree to the terms and conditions as set out below. Your statutory rights are not affected by these.
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed using www.yummies deli.com and over the telephone with us. Please read and be aware of these before you place an order.

- Use of the Website and Your Account
When using our online store to make purchases, you may create an account with us. We do not take any responsibility for someone other than the account holder taking control of the account. To prevent this, we encourage you to keep your login credentials private and do not physically record them anywhere or inform anyone else of your credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised in any way please contact us immediately. You are also responsible for ensuring your personal details are accurate, complete, and up to date when you register, and that you inform us immediately if any details have changed. We reserve the right to delete accounts, to modify and remove content, and to cancel any order at our discretion. If we do cancel an order it will be at no charge to you.
- Your Rights and Responsibilities
When placing an order you are offering to purchase the items on this order. By placing an order you are providing us with details that are up to date, complete, and correct, and that all credit or debit card details are correct and your own. We will send you an email upon confirmation of your order detailing the order. This forms the contract of the order.
- Our Privacy Policy
The collection of data when you register on our website or when you make an online or telephone purchase with us. We use this information only to process and deliver any orders you place. By registering, you agree for us to hold and use your personal data for use in order processing.
We also would use this feature; with your permission, to send you promotional offers or messages from us that we believe are within your interest. These messages would only be regarding Yummies and our services. If you would like to receive these messages from us, please indicate so by checking the ‘subscribe’ message when you register.
We would never in any way or form distribute any of your personal information to anyone else. If you would like us to remove your information from our systems, please call or email us and we can remove them.

- Age Restrictions
Some of the products we sell such as knives and alcohol are only suitable for purchase by those 18 and over. We are mandated by Law to not sell these products to those under the age of 18 or to someone purchasing on behalf of someone under the age of 18. Should you be under 18, you must only use the website with the direct involvement of a parent or guardian.
- Perishable Food
Your statutory right to withdraw a purchase within the 14-day ‘cooling-off’ period does not apply to perishable food or items with a short-term expiry date. Non-perishable items are not affected and purchases of non-perishable items can be withdrawn within the 14-day ‘cooling-off’ period which begins from the date of delivery.
- Product Appearance and Description
The products as shown have been given the maximum care and attention in order to be as accurate as possible to the appearance of the products we produce. We aim to ensure factors such as packaging, colours, size, description and specifications are accurate to what is listed. However, we may occasionally need to alter certain specifications of items without prior notice as well as alter the packaging, but we will not alter the contents of the product.
- Complaints procedure
We pride ourselves in our high-quality handmade products and we ensure all quality control checks made by our expert staff are made as we prepare our fresh products. For these reasons we are sure that all our products are sent out as good as they can be.
However, if you feel like the condition of your goods are not up to our high standards, we would encourage you to contact us immediately either by telephone 020 8906 0990, or by emailing us at info@yummiesdeli.com.
If you believe our products are below standards, we would ask for photographic proof of the product that allows us to verify that there has been an issue.
We would not accept your claim in instances where five days have passed of you having received the order, or if you have not provided us with photographic evidence before disposing of the product.
- Copyright
Yummies are the sole holder of all copyright, database rights, trademarks (including Yummies and www.yummiesdeli.com) and all assets of the website including all text, graphics, logos, banners, images, buttons, underlying source code and software. The express written permission of Yummies must be obtained in order to use (copying, reproduction, duplication, transmission and display of web content) for any purpose other than viewing and purchasing goods.
Yummies grant permission to copy electronically and print in hard copy, portions of the website only to place an order with Yummies, or for use as a shopping resource.
- Substitution Policy
If for any reason we are unable to supply the product as requested, we reserve the right to substitute that product for another item of equal or greater value, or issue a refund to you. We will do everything we can to notify you ahead of time when we feel like we need to make a substitution. If we cannot notify you for whatever reason, we will enclose a note to explain why we have substituted an item. This policy also includes items contained in our gift boxes selections. In this case we aim to ensure that the replaced product is as close to the original as we can, and of the same or greater quality. We may select a replacement based on the theme of the product providing we believe it is suitable.
- Yummies’s Shop Gift Vouchers and Promotional Discounts
Shop Vouchers
Gift cards can be purchased from our shops with a minimum balance of £20. Gift cards will expire 12 months from purchase or last use, usage includes making a balance enquiry or purchasing a product. Gift cards and electronic gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and we do not give change on gift card purchases. The remaining balance on the card will remain and can be applied to future purchases as long as the card is in date. We reserve the right to refuse any cards that we suspect have been tampered with in any way, and we reserve the right to reasonably change the gift card terms and conditions where we deem it necessary.
Promotional discounts
Promotional codes and discounts offered by Yummies are only valid for online use unless stated otherwise. They are not valid for use in our stores unless stated on the promotion.
- Cancellations
If you would like to cancel your order with us you must contact us either by our email or our telephone number. As long as we see your request before we send the order to you, we will be more than happy to cancel the order in full and completely refund you without any extra fees.
In the case where your items are already dispatched and on their way to you, we may not be able to prevent them from reaching you. if you receive the cancelled order, you are obligated to ensure that the products are not damaged or spoiled until we can pick them up from you. If they are damaged or spoiled we reserve the right to only refund part of the order or refuse to refund the order outright.
Please note that Section 6 takes precedence over this section.
- Delivery
We deliver goods by overnight delivery to the GB Mainland, delivering on from Tuesday-Saturday. We are able to deliver to the homes and work places of both you or someone else. We must have a complete postcode and telephone number. The recipient will receive a text message detailing the expected delivery time and an image of where the parcel has been left if necessary. If the delivery is not for you, you have the option to use your own mobile number but your recipient will not receive any updates.
We also require an alternative location to place the delivery if the recipient is not at the address due to the perishable nature of the products.

- Scottish Highlands and Islands and Worldwide delivery
We cannot deliver fresh products out to the Scottish Highlands and Islands or outside mainland UK. Please contact us to discuss ambient deliveries to Scottish Highlands and Islands and Beyond.
- Alterations to this Website and Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our website at any time without notice. We may notify you if we change our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement. You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions at the time of usage of the website. If we are required by law to make changes to the Terms and Conditions, orders you have places may be subject to these changes. If any of the Terms and Conditions are found invalid, void or unenforceable, these will be treated as severable and they will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining Terms and Conditions.
- Waiver
If a section of the Terms and Conditions are violated and no action is taken by us regarding this, we still reserve the right to take action against other breaches.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and written in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We will use your data to conduct business between us, which may include but is not limited to names, addresses, contact information, and information contained in invoices and statements.
We seek to protect your data and comply with GDPR regulations by storing information safe and securely, and endeavour to protect it from theft or misuse. We will use your data to conduct business between us and inform you of promotional events that you have consented to.

We will also share data with any statutory, governmental, or regulatory body that may request personal data as we are mandated by law to do so.
